When visiting our friend from Plymouth, she suggested we do lunch at the Roadside Bar & Grill. It was our first visit to the Roadside even though we had been in the area many times. It is easily accessed along Highway 57 east of Plymouth. You can park for free in a large parking lot. The restaurant has a great Wisconsin up north cabin sort of charm. This is a cute place. The food was pretty good for the most part. The only thing I didn’t really like was the Alfredo. The sauce was really soupy and didn’t have much flavor. The chicken that came with it was really good. I got the chicken dumpling soup which was also really good. I’m just thinking they added a little too much liquid to the Alfredo sauce. I’d go back and try it and other foods again. The staff working when I stopped were very nice and helpful.
Had dinner here for the first time after passing it frequently and seeing the parking lot always full throughout the day. I read they serve breakfast all day long in addition to their normal menu items. Food, service, and price were all excellent.
