I don't frequently get to Tello's, but when I do I always have a great time. The food is always delicious and the service is wonderful. The decor is also fantastic, there's no soulless corporate minimalism. The gyros, chips and salsa, and quesadillas are some of my favorites.
My husband and I went in a Sat night for dinner. We both had margaritas which were very good. But when our food came we were very disappointed. I ordered a3 enchilada platter, 1 cheese and onion, and 2 beef. I got 3 shredded pork instead, but I didn't send them back because they were very busy. Flavors are a bit on the bland side - maybe watered down for the Midwest palate? The salsa definitely needs a picante boost! And a salsa verde would also be a welcome addition.
