We are new to the area and visited on Sunday AM for brunch. Food was great at a good price. They had a breakfast/brunch buffet that day with a good selection. Our server (Lisa?) Was amazing, super friendly and attentive We will definitely be back.

Went there for Valentine's Day. Reservations at 7PM. Sat down at 7:05PM so this was wonderful. Sat there until 7:35PM. No waitress. Not even to ask if we wanted a drink. Nothing. There were I think 6 tables in the area we sat in. Two tables left during that time (done eating). The one next to us kept saying, has anyone even seen our waitress?? It looked like they were waiting for to go containers. They were still waiting when we left. I saw one person give the one table containers for leftovers. So this means in 30 minutes nobody had refills on drinks either. Called another restaurant and could get in at 8:30PM. Drove 40 minutes away just to eat dinner at 830PM. It was supposed to be a really nice dinner with my daughter and I as it has been a rough couple months for us (divorce). Very disappointing. 😔

My son and daughter-in-law went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day. They waited 2 and a 1 hours for their food and then got the wrong food. The 2 steaks that they ordered were supposed to be 1 rare 1 medium-rare one state came out, cooked to death and the other one was not cooked right either. They asked what the problem was, and the man they talked to could barely speak English. No, do better.You ruined my kids.Valentine's day

A hidden gem. Went from recommendation from nurse from hospital. Very welcoming place with home cooking and salad bar. Both our meals were very hot & tasty and enjoyed the salad bar. Place is an older place and is a bit dark inside. Very friendly staff and customers.

This place popped up when looking for restaurants around Portage. Decided to check it out on a day trip to Portage. I got the 2 piece beer battered cod and my girlfriend got the baked cod. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was perfect and our orders came out promptly. Food was delicious and hot. Thanks for a great lunch visit.

I chartered a large group of seniors here for lunch and the food was good. The salad bar was a bonus that I wasn’t expecting, but upon entering the pies caught my eyes. If you ever ride by this place, stop in, dine, but please save some room for the pies.

Some friends and I stopped here for breakfast/brunch one Sunday. We had a wide variety of eggs Benedict’s and omelettes. The portions were huge and the food was tasty. The service was a bit slow, but we weren’t in a hurry. My favorite side was the potato and zucchini pancakes (cooked like latkes or kartoflepuffers.) I upgraded my toast choice to a cinnamon bun, which I would recommend, but I wish I would have asked for it warm at the end of my meal. We left with full bellies and spent less than $50 on 4 meals. (Not including tip.)
