Very slow service. Confusion while ordering. The Bald guy who took our order not very friendly. You lose customers that way. Food was cool to the touch, ordered pizza that tasted like its been sitting awhile. Spaghetti and meat balls were very dry, they need to put more sauce on them instead of letting them dry out by trying to keep them warm. Prices are fair. But not for what is being served. Had better at less expensive restaurants with a better view and seating area.

I'm a truck driver delivering to a local business, and I was told it would be awhile before I could be seen. No problem.
I ordered a large lasagna pizza from Sal's, told the gentleman I spoke with the name of the business where I was, where I would be parked and my truck make and model. He told me the total and that it would take about half an hour.
45 minutes later the delivery driver calls me from the office of the business, audibly frustrated that I was not there. I had no reason to be in the front office. That's why I gave the order taker my truck info. He even made sure to write it on the receipt. It was a receipt that I took a picture of because the driver wouldn't let me keep it for some odd reason. The driver literally had to go past my truck to get to the office just to call me to get out of my truck and meet him there, saying I'm not there and he needs some cash. (Yeah, just like that.)
Since the pizza was late, it was lukewarm with some cheese and toppings slid off the front edge. Good pizza otherwise.
I still tipped the driver more than 20%, because I used to deliver pizzas myself once upon a time and I understand that sometimes things just go wrong.
All things considered, I won't be doing business with this restaurant ever again even though my work has me out this way quite often.

First, I have ordered many times from here. My experience I am going to share is based off of the last 2 times I have ordered online.
Maybe I'm wrong but the point of ordering ahead of time (30-45 minutes) is so I don't have to wait in line and I can get in and out. The issue isn't that the food isn't ready its because it's TOO ready. I could tell food had been sitting for a while and when I got it home it was getting dry and it was cold.
So. Beware. If you order ahead your food may be prepared and sitting for a while until you pick it up.
I have always gotten excellent pizza, calzones and gyros from here. Next time I will click ASAP for my food and go and get it while it's still hot.

Ordered for delivery. Food is phenomenal, but the delivery part is not so much.
Pizza was good. Old man at pickup made a comment about me being an Old Wives Tale as a gender ambiguous human. Someone tell him his testosterone looks low and to see a doctor before I gobble it all up <3 cannolis were stale. Edit: appreciate Sal's response <3. will be back next time im in portage. Happy Pride
