Food is ok, coffee is good, soda is good soup is good it's home made, the breakfast potatoes are usually greasy better with cheese and onions and breakfast meats are low grade, bacon is either petrified or on verge of raw so better specify exactly no happy medium, bacon is good when done right . eggs are a little overdone if you want overeasy, best eggs are the Omelettes My cheese omelette was fantastic ordered extra extra cheese.the service is adequate some are not real friendly , then some sre friendly, others are get em in get em out type .The atmosphere is a mix sometimes peaceful ,and sometimes chaotic ,it's food but not great food , but it's okay , extra charge for everything though.

Place hits! Wife and I were driving home from Devil’s Lake. We had a taste for a BLT (diner style). So glad we stopped at Eagle Inn. Place is clean, service was super fast!

Good diner environment and has the best comfort food you'll find in a diner. The pies are phenomenal. Staff is friendly and efficient but they are doing a lot, when they are busy you will need to have some patience. Atmosphere is average, could use some updating but is clean and has many seating options to accommodate a variety of groups. Love the diner stools and counter feel.

Good food friendly staff..they cut up my brother's food for him in kitchen he's disabled and loves going there

Aways a delightful experience at this family friendly place.

Real home cooked meals. They are delicious! We don't live in the area, but if we come through again, we will make sure to stop. This is a gem.

Had an appointment in Sauk and my daughter suggested Eagle in and it was great. I had great potato pancakes and baked cod and both were delicious. Served with applesauce and homemade bread. My daughter had a BLT and fries and coleslaw. She said it was all very good on homemade bread. And you have to top it off with pie. So good will definitely be back... Staff are so friendly ❤️

Quiet, cozy place, with good food. Service was wonderful. Was in town for a Culver's manager course and Jodi stopped to ask about what we'd learned and was very kind. Definitely would stop again

We've been there several times, and we have never been disappointed. Very nice family restaurant.

Walked in to a half filled restaurant. The signs seat yourself so we do. Two waitresses walk by with their heads down, studiously ignoring us as we sat there.
One sneeze and I say bless you - no response. 5 minute later another couple comes in and smiles at us and takes a seat. The waitress gets them a few menus. Time goes by and the waitress takes their order. Meanwhile we still haven't gotten even a glance our way.

We left after 15 minutes of non-service. They studiously kept their heads down as we walked past three staff members on the way out.

I'm not gonna say they were racist, but we were the only mixed couple in the place. Decide for yourself why they studiously ignored us.

I just ate at Eagle Inn for the first time. It won’t be the last! I really like chicken fried steak & gave their’s a try. I quickly finished every last bite. It was delicious and a good portion. Even the mashed potatoes and gravy were impressive. I loved the creamy coleslaw I got as a side. Just the right amount of creaminess, sweet & vinagary. The dinner roll was a VERY pleasant surprise that you just don’t see anymore. It obviously didn’t come out of a bag from someone else. Delicious, yeasty, soft center & crisp outside. I may need to take some of those To Go on my next visit! Well worth the stop. Hearty portions, reasonable price, friendly service. Give it a try!
