Stopped in on New Years Day 2024I have lived here for 6 years and have never been here before, I can say hands down that I have been missing out. The food is amazing, the service is top notch. Atmosphere is very homie. Great place to relax and fill up.

The pro, it was clean. Otherwise it was very outdated and worn. The carpet ripped and was worn to the padding in front of the TV. The bathroom ceiling had water damage and looked like it was going to fall down. We won’t return, and don’t recommend it. It was a last choice.

There were a number of issues with this stay. 1.) I never received a confirmation email, I had to call and confirm the reservation I had made online. Kate did provide the number to me over the phone. 2.) Upon arrival our credit card was charged for the full stay upfront. (I have never had that happen) 3.) The room we were given had an area in front of the dresser where the carpet was completely worn right down to the padding. (I would have at least covered it with a rug of some type.) 4.) On the wall behind the night stand it appeared that someone had thrown or spilt coffee. 5.) The platform under the bed also had something all over it, either someone spilt something and it splashed on the platform or possibly from a carpet cleaner(?). 6.) The carpet had not been vacuumed and there was a mess near the table. 7.) There was no screen on one of the windows and on the other was a torn screen, flapping in the breeze. 8.) The shower curtain was stained. The tub itself reminded me of a shower at a campground, it needed a good scrubbing with Comet! 9.) The faucet in the bathtub made a complete 360 and never really shut off completely (continually dripped) 10.) When we first turned on the shower the faucet spewed black gunk and lime scale. I did go ask for rags to wipe it up. 10.) The heat light in the ceiling was missing a cover and was dirty and dusty. The fan did not turn on. 11.) After using the shower, the toilet would not flush (it would not refill with water), I went and asked for a bucket to fill from the tub faucet, so we could flush. 12.) Saturday morning I went to lobby area for coffee. I poured the first cup and it was ice cold....it was left over from the previous day! And when I rang for help, Kate stumbled out in the same clothes as the day before and fumbled through making a pot of coffee. (Why not just provide a Keurig?) We did not partake in the "breakfast" which consisted of instant oatmeal or frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. No idea how long either had been there. 13.) We decided not to even bother with coffee on Sunday morning to just shower and get out! Of course I decided to blow dry my hair because we were going to brunch and the blow dryer didn't work! 14.) Every time we left and came back, Kate was sitting in her car smoking. I just don't find it very professional. I will say that Kate did offer twice to move us to a different room but we didn't want to start over with a whole new set of issues. I understand that this place had just been taken over mid-April, but unfortunately I don't see things changing here. Kate was very nice but I feel she is overextended. We have acquired land in the area and were hoping to use this property on a semi-regular basis until we had a permanent place to stay. It appeared we were the only ones in the place on Friday night and maybe there was one other room filled on Saturday night. I can't imagine how they would handle a full place! We will not be staying here ever again and will not be staying at any other AmeriVu in the area. We will drive the 5 hours up and back in one day before we stay here again. I believe we should be refunded for this horrible stay. When I called the corporate office on May 16th I was told I had to submit the complaint on line, which I did on 5/18. I heard nothing from them and when I called on 6/8 "Nick" told me the never received it. I emailed it and he told me the motel now has a week to respond and then he will get back to me....such a horribly disgusting property! They offer Free WiFi, which did not work and the TV appeared to be some trial version of some type of service, we could not get to anything! Date of stay: May 2022 Room tip: Do Not Stay Here

I like the breakfast burrito. It's super good. Another good meal is the work man breakfast.When you have little kids that don't eat much, they will bring an extra plate so you can share. Friendly service and a great place to meet with friends.
