“Stopped in on New Years Day 2024I have lived here for 6 years and have never been here before, I can say hands down that I have been missing out. The food is amazing, the service is top notch. Atmosphere is very homie. Great place to relax and fill up.”
“We stayed at the little hotel across the street that didn't serve a breakfast so we came over to Crossing Point. First impression was that it was clean! Ordered an omelet and hot chocolate, husband got country fried steak. Delicious! All of it was so yummy. And large portions too. Very impressed! Wish it was closer to where we live so we could go there more often.”
“New owners- they were awesome!! We are from out of town and they treated us like family!! Thank you Brian and Sally for the hospitality and perfectly made pizza! They are updating the place- looking good!”
“The Best Bar in Ogema Hands down. I’ve been coming up here for years and I have never even stepped foot in the other bar in town. Also, GREAT FOOD!!! Seriously, their burgers are great.”
“Cute cafe in Ogema. Wonderful helpful staff. This was a breaking point midway on our bike ride. Very helpful with opinions on our next leg of our bike journey.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the building.”
“Stopped in for lunch. Such a cute spot. Service was fantastic. We shared the Reuben for lunch which was the perfect amount. Best Reuben I’ve ever had. Our waiter was very nice. The restaurant has such a cozy feel to it and the surrounding views are beautiful. Will definitely be back!”
“Met this beautiful couple here, owner had karaoke/dj and a costume contest. Haven't been here since the new owner. It was a fun night here! ???make sure to check it out.”
“Best food I have EVER had! Great and friendly service! Family owned which is the best atmosphere you can be in! I am from Texas and drove all the way to ogema for their amazing wings and it was so worth the drive! Between the open arms welcoming you to the late nights making new friends I definitely recommend this bar to everyone! You won't be disappointed!”
“The food is delicious! Soup is so good. They always have different kinds of soup. And their PIES are so creamy. GREAT SERVICEWheelchair accessibility: Parking in back”
“Stopped here as we were passing through Phillips. Decent prices and menu. Burger was a bit on the smaller side but had lots of toppings. Definitely a townie/dive bar. Burgers are their specialities. Bloody was good too!”
“We enjoyed experiencing the tavern and seeing Fred Smith’s photos and articles. It has a neat story and different artistic displays that explain Fred Smith as an artist and music lover. He often played his fiddle and mandolin while jingling sleigh bells that were tied to his knees.Look above the bar to see his watercolor portrait that has hung watching over the tavern for decades. We recommend stopping in, having a Fred Smith Lager, and checking the place out. And, if you’re looking for somewhere unique to stay, the upstairs has been renovated into an Airbnb. Guests can stay and also rent the Rock Garden Tavern for an event.”
“We've driven past this place a million times and finally decided to stop. So glad we did! The smash burgers were incredible and huge! We had the curd smash and nut job. It was packed, but our food cane out very fast and the bartender was so incredibly kind! We'll be back.”
“My only complaint with the Midway is their sometimes erratic hours. When they're open, they have great bar food, friendly staff and exceptional tap beer. So few bars understand the importance of proper tap line maintenance and design. Beer at the Midway always is crisp and refreshing and goes down very well. It's one of my favorite stops when visiting our cabin near Prentice. Wait, it is my favorite.”
“My friend and I headed to phillips to do a few things and so we had lunch at Homespun. They have a limited menu for lunch and a nice selection of omelets and such as well, and I was able to request a grilled cheese as there weren't any vegetarian selections available. My friend had the chicken salad which was apparently really good. I had the cheese on marble rye- which was very tasty!! Chips and a pickle came with. I also had a cappuccino- really good coffee and a nice milk foam. The gentleman taking our order (order at the counter)was SUPER nice - and our food came out fast. This is also a gift store and there is also an adjacent clothing store, so there were lots of people strolling around. The vibe is really nice and casual. Very nice place for lunch in Phillips”
“This restaurant is new to me I lived in Phillips years ago. I came to visit with family and saw that there was a new Mexican restaurant in town. I took a few friends to dine and I had a great time. The only thing is I did not like my nachos I didn't understand that it was going to be ground beef and chicken. I'm not a chicken nachos fan. So other than that it was a really great time”
“HUGE shout out to the lady working here tonight. There were two gentlemen in line in front of me complaining about the way the veggies looked. She happily switched them out and went on her way. She was working alone, and at one time had six people waiting. She never showed any frustration, agitation, or hint of being overwhelmed. Her customer service was OUTSTANDING. Thank you for showing up to your job and doing a great job under pressure!! You are a rockstar!!”
