“Kountry charm, we just recently moved to the area and have been slowly exploring the restaurants in the area. Our trip to the kountry kafe was excellent. The cafe itself is charming but fairly non-descriptive. Friendly service, a varied menu and quality food make the cafe a must visit when in the area. It looks like the restaurant is for sale, hopefully who ever takes over keeps the staff and the koontry charm.”

“So I’m visiting family in my hometown of Butternut. Had to try this great pizza everyone raves about. Plus I wanted to support the business because I grew up with one of the owners and her family. What a great place and delicious menu. Great customer service and very clean. The pizza was the best I have ever had and my cocktail was superb as well. My brother said it was it was so good, cheesy, meaty, saucy, and had the perfect crust and that the Hawaiian pizza had the perfect amount of pineapple on it. His wife commented that it was delicious as well. Highly recommend Double DD’s to anyone near and far. My nephew said it’s worth the drive. Yum! *****”

“Visited this bar while on vacation. The owner (Cliff) is a genuine, honest and hard working individual. My son and I have been there three times, and have tried the burgers, chicken tenders, fish fry and multiple appetizers. All food has been outstanding. In speaking with the regular patrons, this place has a growing reputation as a comfortable neighborhood bar, welcoming to all.”

“The best coffee/espresso drinks and lemonade drinks that I’ve had in a LONG time! Definitely the best in our little area. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried them yet. Their food is amazing too! “The hand breaded cheese curds let's stop and talk about that because they are above and beyond because I know how much they make a mess. but it really does make having cheese curds from ridge runners top notch and then they take it another step and they make homemade ranch.”

“LOL..."The Butternut Cafe, The Food is just OK."That's the sign. Went to eat with my uncle, a great guy, and had the seafood platter. Kinda risky, but...damn was it good.Went back a few days later with a cousin, and had a good burger.The 2nd time, our bill was wrong. It was ~65 and should have been ~35. We didn't catch it. They did. Just a nice, small town place that I'd recommend if you're in the area.”

“Pizza is delicious! Obviously made with quality ingredients and handmade. The crust is the perfect thickness. Toasted to perfection. The sauce sets it off and the toppings are fresh and made to order. The craft beer is served cold and the featured drafts are rotated. Never fear, they offer tasters before serving you a glass. A rather small place makes it more personable and comfortable. The owner and staff couldn't make you feel more welcome. We will definitely be making this one of our weekly stops!”

“We were passing thru Park Falls after visiting the Phillips Concrete Park and the post office mural there; spied the Bakery sign and had to stop. We were camping, so homemade bakery is a treat. Chose their cinnamon rolls and M&M cookies. Yum! What a delightful and friendly place!”

“Food was amazing! Drinks were so yummy;! We had a table of 4, and for 3 of us it was our first time at this restaurant. We are from Milwaukee and it was nice to dine here. One thing that bothered my party was how hot it was in the dinning area. It would've been nice to have the windows was there was a cool breeze outside. There was eating and chairs along with a fire pit outside. Very pretty and relaxing ?Food & drinks: The drinks are amazing!!”

“Captain Nemo's is a great little place in Park Falls. We spent three days in the area and tried to sample a few of the local mom and pop places. More bar than restaurant however the menu offered a bit. My son loved the pizza and his mom ordered a taco wrap kind of thing that she gobbled up and said was wonderful. Not being from the area, it took us a minute to figure out if we could just sit at the tables and someone would come by for an order or if everything was done from the bar. Prices were very reasonable and the staff were great. Would definitely come back.”

“Want to say last Sunday passed through Park Falls, went through McDonald’s and the pleasant and vibrant Frank took our order and delivered fantastic service at the drive through window. This young man understands customer service, served with a smile. I tried to call the manager twice to praise the service but nobody answers the phone thought it might be nice to get a compliment.
