Philander's Grill & Bar serves awesome food at a good price. Options like smothered chicken breast, baby reds, and avocado hamburger with fries are delicious. The atmosphere is casual and a bit loud, but the service is wonderful. Staff, like server Nancy, are helpful and friendly. Diners enjoyed the trivia questions on TV. The 2 piece Codfish dinners with boiled red potatoes are highly recommended, along with the fish chowder and dinner salad. Despite the noise, the great food and service make it worth a return visit.
