Valley Bar and Grill continues its long-standing Tradition of Food, Drinks and Service to customers from near and far. Our two families have been making regular trips from the Minneapolis area, since the 1970's. The people are not just employees, but they are like old friends.....Don't let this Country Business pass you by. Well worth the trip!!!
I live in Cottage Grove, MN and stopped here today as I was passing through. The inside is much nicer than the outside. It is tastefully decorated and clean (restrooms are clean too). The service was fine and the food was standard "bar cuisine" but good. Prices are more than fair. I had a 16 oz. tap beer and it was 3.35 (happy hour) which is great in my opinion. I enjoyed this place and would visit again.

They no longer have a Chicken Fry on Sundays since before Covid. The Friday Fish Fry is okay. It's only during Lent.
This place still has great service; but it just isn't a great as it used to be.
