Look at the ceiling fans before you are seated! Definitely wouldn’t pass health inspection. Might want to ask for a shield to protect your overly cooked, hard food. $6 for 2 hash brown patties fried to a dark brown crisp that weren’t edible. Server obviously didn’t want to mess with customers as she was rude, snarky and not in a mood to be bothered. Will not be returning.

Great food!
Breakfast was excellent! All items were delicious. Our server was not exactly friendly. Seemed put out with questions. I think she was the only one there with the help of a friendly busgirl. Food took a while to get. View was great and place was somewhat rustic. One of the best breakfasts I have had here. Would return. Hopefully, there is more wait staff.

Came in for friday fish fry and got a combo platter. Food was amazing. The cheese curds were delicious. Stopped at the bar before hand and the bartender remembered our names and got us fresh buttered popcorn and kept it coming. We didn’t realize the window seats were typically for reservations and the waitress managed to get us a booth by the window which was awesome. Totally will come back next time we drive through town.

Staff was awesome! clean and a great stop on the sled! highly recommend heading there! the atmosphere was perfect!
Rude service. We felt like we were bothering her to even be here. Dirty dishes! Lipstick on coffee cup that was on our table as we sat down. Yuck.
Would not recommend but it was open on a Monday. We Pref the PI pub.
We has to guess what wasn't available. I'll have tomatoe soup. "We don't have that" she quipped.
Then rudely glared while we guessed even thoughits on the menu. Oooff.
Granted it was Labor Day and we walked in 30mins before close. But hey then don't be open I guess.
Northwoods feel to the building. Food was ,meh. Server was, meh.

Charged an extra dollar for a very small dot of mayo after not giving us our Cole slaw that was supposed to come with our meal.

The food was good the place was quaint and felt like a northwoods eatery should. Now to the bad the wait to get seated, granted it was the day after the independence day holiday and they were busy, but over an hour to get seated then an hour and a half wait for our food to arrive without the wait staff even coming by the table and saying sorry we are short staffed and it will take a little longer. She also never came by for refills of water or coffee, we had to ask for the coffee in the first place she took our food order then never came back. It was an older dark haired woman and she was one of the worst waitresses I have had in a long time… She never checked in with the table and was kind of rude but I will give her the benefit of the doubt that she was overwhelmed by how many people were in and how few other employees were working.

Visited this restaurant twice in the last 2 weeks, bolt the scrambled eggs and the French toast or less than desirable, they did a great job on the bacon.
