Very nicely decorated place. Service was fast, with our drinks. Food took a little bit longer. To be honest, the food was bland. The refried beans were tasteless. The rice was over cooked and clumpy, but it was white rice. The burrito I had was also bland and I had the carnitas burrito. It wasn’t bad; I was just expecting more flavor, since this was highly recommended. I did have a mango margarita which was good and tasty.
The tacos were fine but the rice wasn’t good, it was seasoned with garlic salt only (seemed like it any way). We ordered online and it didn’t get made until we got there, not sure what happened but I could tell there was a mistake made somewhere, I’d go back and give it another shot but for dine in instead of take out.
My husband loved his taco platter. My Carnitas taco bowl was extremely salty which was unfortunate. Otherwise the service, the Mexican Old Fashioned, and the ambience were enjoyable.
