Nice little ma+pa type restaurant- very reminiscent of my childhood in the 80s sans smoking. A great find on the border of Racine and Kenosha counties across the street from Lake Michigan. Service was excellent and the food was a perfect familiar comfort- the country fried steak was really good and my friend had biscuits and gravy which she enjoyed as well. Friendly staff and best Menudo ever!!! Only bummer is sometimes they're so busy it takes longer to get served. But, the food is always fresh and delicious and the portions are generous !!
I ordered breakfast on DoorDash from here. Three meat with eggs, hash browns and a side of corned beef hash.Eggs were heavily fried on the edges, sunny side up but they were not cooked well, there was the clear slime coming off of them. The hash browns were fried so heavily they were inedible and the corned beef hash was Hormel's (I believe bc I get those cans at home and that's exactly what they tasted like). The bacon was nearly black but the sausage links were good....
