The ambience was excellent, the service very good, the supporting food very good (salad, bread), the Old Fashioneds very good, and the main courses mediocre. The "signature" walleye filet was tasteless and the prime rib was nothing special for the high price. We would try many other restaurants in the area before returning here.

Went to the Corner House on the Lake tonight with my best friend. We got there at 5:18pm and didn't get seated or get out of there until after 9:30pm. We were told 30 minute wait and the place decided not to take reservations tonight for New Years Eve. We were waiting 40 minutes and asked how much longer and he said he could give us a table at the bar and we asked him how much longer without taking that table and he said 10 minutes tops, then an hour went by and my friend...
