Good prices. Good food. I enjoyed the pecan waffle. My friend enjoyed the kitchen sink omelette. We both disliked the plain pancakes in the River Run Special. They were rubbery and unappetizing, but we ate them anyway. I deducted a star because of one employee. She was loud and telling other customers horror stories about her ex husband, including drugs, vehicular homicide, and court dates. It was very peaceful when she stopped, but she got an attitude when our server dared to...
We had the fish (cod and perch) on Friday with fries and clam chowder and none of it was good. Cod was just not tasty and the breading was soggy. The perch had absolutely no flavor. Fries were flavorless. Tarter sauce was gray and didn't taste anything like it should. The clam chowder barely had any clams and it's like it was all blended. The only plus was the waitress (I think she was Irish), she was a sweetheart. Big disappointment in the food.
Wonderful family owned and operated nicer little restaurant. Highly recommend for some quick good service, great food, and family friendly atmosphere. This place has been around for years and for good reason!
