Visiting from Texas and I decided that poutine was needed for lunch.
The Ivanhoe Pub came up and it was close so we stopped.
Walking into the pub was so much fun. It felt like we belonged as we took a seat.
The bartender/waitress was so friendly and helpful. She was like taking to a friend.
The poutine was amazing and got the special sandwich and soup.
Could not resist the blueberry cheesecake with frosting!
The best cheesecake...
Great food. The salad was quite good. Shepards pie was very good. Wasn't able to have coffee, ran out of regular sugar. The only bad thing was how loud it was. People were shouting to each other. Would not return due to that.
Sam is the best bartender! Great atmosphere. So many things to look at and spirits to try. Looking forward to going back to try food. Great place to watch sports or play some pool or darts.
