I’m near Racine fairly often and tried Toad Hall last month. Nothing fancy - which is what one should expect from an authentic British/Irish pub style neighborhood restaurant. First visit I had the Ooomommy burger, tots, and a Magners cider. Everything was perfect right down to the cider. Last night I had Fish and Chips and a dry Strongbow cider. The cod was crisp in its beer batter and the fries were good (but not as good as those tots). I was intrigued by the menu description...
Toad Hall is a weekly treat after I pick up my best friend and we go here for drinks and their Meat Loaf dinner.. We are quite glad that they have reopened under new management but didn't screw with the menu..
Love the atmosphere. Tried to go here Saturday evening about 7pm. Standing room only -- barely got in the door, so can't tell you about food or drinks. Just get here early if you want to sit at the bar or table.
