“I’m near Racine fairly often and tried Toad Hall last month. Nothing fancy - which is what one should expect from an authentic British/Irish pub style neighborhood restaurant. First visit I had the Ooomommy burger, tots, and a Magners cider. Everything was perfect right down to the cider. Last night I had Fish and Chips and a dry Strongbow cider. The cod was crisp in its beer batter and the fries were good (but not as good as those tots). I was intrigued by the menu description of the Coffee Stout Chili so took a bowl to go and had it for dinner just now. It’s one of the BEST chili’s I’ve ever had and that includes my homemade chili. Just the right level of spicy. Both visits the service was friendly and good. Last night it was very busy and the server who was also bartending apologized for a gap in getting back to take my food order. She explained was due to “making four Old Fashioneds and needing to get them just right.” Well duh, it’s Wisconsin and you need to get the Old Fashioneds right!” I will definitely return to Toad Hall my next trip to Racine. No food pictures because it was too good.“

“I always go here for the corn in a cup but yesterday was just all bad. usually it's alot of corn then the toppings. but I got a cup full of mayo and maybe 4 bites of corn as it just barely covered the bottom of the cup. “We decided to stop and try this buffet since we were in the area and seen the parking lot full. It turned out to be very good. We enjoyed it, everything we picked tasted good, the ladies there were very prompt on cleaning off the table from the plates as soon as they were empty. Drinks are included in the price, its a sunday so price is $15.99 a person so its decent. All is self-serve, including your drinks. The service was good, there is a good variety of items to choose from, the salad bar even looked good, lettece was fresh looking, lots of desert to choose from, they have a variety of ice cream choices as well, there is a bonus station that serves rolled ice cream in a cup and your choice of toppings, there's a fruit bar, variety of jello flavors, cakes, cookies, pudding, etc. Good selection of seafood like crap legs, shrimp, crawfish, calamari, etc. Pizza. Anyhow, all was good. No complains. Lots of parking available.

The bathrooms were the only thing that weren't the best, all were dirty except for one, no paper towels.

“I recently ordered and couldn't be happier with my experience! We decided to try their Italian beef pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and satisfying, and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

We also ordered teriyaki wings and parmesan wings, and both were fantastic! The teriyaki wings were perfectly glazed, sweet, and savory, while the parmesan wings were crispy and loaded with flavor. Each bite was a delight!

The service was top-notch too. The person who took my order was patient, friendly, and made sure everything was correct.

Got home, pizza ice cold, and I don't know what it was but definitely Not garlic bread. called and was completely blown off even by the manager. Truly a disappointing experience all the way around. “We enjoyed Mother's Day at Hobnob. We were seated in the back at an adorable bistro table facing the lake. We felt welcomed and well cared for. My cosmo was perfection. The Italian wedding soup was delicious. Salad was good. Rolls were fresh and warm. I ordered the filet Oscar which was fabulous. My filet melted in my mouth. So tender and cooked perfectly. My husband tried weinerschnitzel and was happy. The quality of our meal and overall experience was 5 star. Normally on a holiday we may encounter a glitch somewhere- not today! Highly recommend.“
