“I’m near Racine fairly often and tried Toad Hall last month. Nothing fancy - which is what one should expect from an authentic British/Irish pub style neighborhood restaurant. First visit I had the Ooomommy burger, tots, and a Magners cider. Everything was perfect right down to the cider. Last night I had Fish and Chips and a dry Strongbow cider. The cod was crisp in its beer batter and the fries were good (but not as good as those tots). I was intrigued by the menu description of the Coffee Stout Chili so took a bowl to go and had it for dinner just now. It’s one of the BEST chili’s I’ve ever had and that includes my homemade chili. Just the right level of spicy. Both visits the service was friendly and good. Last night it was very busy and the server who was also bartending apologized for a gap in getting back to take my food order. She explained was due to “making four Old Fashioneds and needing to get them just right.” Well duh, it’s Wisconsin and you need to get the Old Fashioneds right!” I will definitely return to Toad Hall my next trip to Racine. No food pictures because it was too good.“

“I always go here for the corn in a cup but yesterday was just all bad. usually it's alot of corn then the toppings. but I got a cup full of mayo and maybe 4 bites of corn as it just barely covered the bottom of the cup. I tossed it. I should've took a picture but when I talked to a friend they had the same experience. I also asked for flour shells and got corn so I gave that away. another time I've had the best food from here 😋“

“Another update Review update as of recent regular visits in june of this year 2025 the cashier girl heather upfront still always soo nice and friendly and makes everyone smile she is always willing to help with any questions about china because she is Chinese next time i go i will remember her name but i forgot due to being sick unrelated the food is always hot and fresh even off peak hours too soo please dont listen to fake disgruntled reviews restaurant is always clean spotless and i have never gotten food poisoning and i have a sensitive stomach restrooms always smell clean and fresh too and well stocked only issue is sadly vandalism in stalls its an issue they have been dealing with due to high crime area and its expensive to and its not economical to keep fix something they cant afford due to being local small business. Soo happy they made come back after cov19 era i grew up eating here with pass and current family and friends i hope they stay as long as the building stands lol“

“I recently ordered and couldn't be happier with my experience! We decided to try their Italian beef pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and satisfying, and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

We also ordered teriyaki wings and parmesan wings, and both were fantastic! The teriyaki wings were perfectly glazed, sweet, and savory, while the parmesan wings were crispy and loaded with flavor. Each bite was a delight!

The service was top-notch too. The person who took my order was patient, friendly, and made sure everything was correct.

“I had the sirloin steak and eggs at Dynasty Restaurant in Racine, and it was absolutely spot-on. The food was hot, fresh, and clearly made to order—my steak was cooked just right, the eggs were perfect, and everything tasted great.

The service was exceptional, especially thanks to Yolanda, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was friendly, attentive, and kept my coffee cup full the entire time. You can tell she really cares about her customers and takes pride in her work.

“My parents owned a restaurant down the way from here as a second income source in the late 80s. So as a child of parents who had a day time job and then owned and managed a restaurant we ate a lot of pizza (when not eating the food at their restaurant naturally). This set a very high bar for pizza and Italian food in general. Came back a few years ago and was glad to see it still open and glad it was the same as I remembered.“

Inside, the ambiance is cozy and feels familiar. We were led through the comforting glow of the candle lit room to our linen-draped table that provided plush seating with views of Lake Michigan.

The menu reflects supper club tradition with a focus on hearty, comforting fare: known for their prime rib but also serving other dishes like classic shrimp de Jonghe. We have been to the Corner House many times and looked forward to the small warm loaf of bread served with our salads. Tonight for our entree we each ordered the filet mignon, it seemed better than it has ever been, the flavor was amazing and it had a buttery texture that was incredibly soft and velvety, and melted in my mouth.

We will frequent the Corner House. Not only do they provide a classy more elegant dining experience inside, outside they have casual dining and a bar lakeside, or a patio off the bar that provides comfortable seating with fire tables.“

“We enjoyed Mother's Day at Hobnob. We were seated in the back at an adorable bistro table facing the lake. We felt welcomed and well cared for. My cosmo was perfection. The Italian wedding soup was delicious. Salad was good. Rolls were fresh and warm. I ordered the filet Oscar which was fabulous. My filet melted in my mouth. So tender and cooked perfectly. My husband tried weinerschnitzel and was happy. The quality of our meal and overall experience was 5 star. Normally on a holiday we may encounter a glitch somewhere- not today! Highly recommend.“
