“went here for Saint Paddy's Day '23. absolute best fish fry of my life. they had a station making it out in the open which was cool to watch. typically I don't even like coleslaw, but somehow Slick Willie's had me craving MORE of it. crowded & loud, yes. a couple dudes nearly getting into a fight, also yes. but I make it my goal to seek out the Real Dive Bars™ & all of these are practically a requirement. plus, it was Saint Paddy's Day in a dive bar in South Milwaukee--to expect anything less would be even stupider than the people who think stupider isn't a real word. your FACE is stupider! staff was on their grind gettin' shit done, nothing to complain about there. the menu was very affordable, although no shame if you spend a day's earnings in a night. definitely not the place for you if your idea of a dive bar can be accurately compared to the cheapest spot in Naperville... but great environment & overall freakin' awesome experience for me & assumably others who share a similar mindset. cannot wait to revisit whenever I head to Milwaukee again.“

“Ever since the first time there, the service has been A+. The bartenders/servers go the extra mile to make sure everything is good. Their recommendations have always been great ? We always go for lunch, and it's always a calm environment. Those things alone are what always have us going back. It's become our favorite place to go get lunch. Most definitely recommend.“

“Delicious place to eat at! Food is quite authentic - even the eggrolls! You order before grabbing a seat, but they do bring the food to you when dining in. I like the concept. Wish there were more heat to the foods. Would definitely go here again!“

It was easy to book a reservation online, and our server was extremely knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus, and was able and willing to offer specific recommendations for us based on our requests/feedback. Parking was a little tough, but we did visit on the same night as a Brewers home game, and it still wasn’t terrible (no worse than anywhere downtown or Bay View or the East Side. Overall, it was a great experience and the price point was dead on - not “cheap” but certainly not overpriced; I’d come back any time.“

“Went here for the first time yesterday for a family members birthday. Not the best atmosphere at all. The place is kind of dark and the decor is really dated. But the service was great. Majority of The food items we selected to share were really good. The cocktails were amazing as well. I am not a huge fan of sharable plates. But I enjoyed the restaurant.“

“Every trip to Mad Rooster is excellent. I may get loud for some people, but that is because everyone enjoys themselves there. The food quality and preparation is top notch, and they hosts and servers are always helpful and pleasant. Come early or be prepared to wait, and the parking lot is limited, but there is an adjacent lot very close by. The Mad Style Yogurt is a signature of there’s in my opinion, and I always enjoy the savory selections. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Our first visit to Lebnani House, we will definitely be back. Food was delicious, the menu is large with lots of options. Our server, Kenza was fantastic. She gave us time to review the menu and described her favorites. I had the mixed grill, with three types of meat, my wife had the grilled mahi mahi fish fillet with tahini sauce. Both were fantastic. Can’t wait to return and try some of their other options.“

“My husband and I are visiting from Illinois and we dined here last night to celebrate our anniversary. Nicole was our server and she was incredible! She was knowledgeable and provided us with recommendations that didn’t disappoint! We started with the salad/relish tray, garlic bread, and the bacon sticks that were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My husband had the prime rib, I had the ribeye, and we ordered the green beans and crab mac and cheese to share. We also ordered the key lime pie and cheesecake for dessert. The pizza was Phenomenal from crust to sauce to toppings. Service completely personal and friendly. Eric whom I assume must be one of the owners of the business was attentive friendly and helpful. “Went went here on a recommendation from our mechanic, Dave from south milwaukee auto, as usually Dave was as good in his dining tips as he was in keeping our cars up and running, I ordered the chicken chicken chorizo plate with the side of pancakes and I’m glad I did, the interior is well lit and very clean so my me the criteria is will I go back and the answer is yes but best time I’m gonna try one of the egg Benedict plates“

“First off, sat at the bar, service was phenomenal.Tried the oyster mushrooms, arab bread with dippings, pork schnitzel, and duck pasta. Overall mixed feelings. No single dish worked perfect imo, and nothing blew me away.The oyster mushrooms themselves were good, very very crispy, but they came with some olives, a bit of feta, and some olive oil. It was lacking. Needed more of a sauce, something with more substance than a drizzle of oil and the mashed olives.The pork schnitzel itself was really good as far as pork schnitzel go. However the sides did not fit the schnitzel.The pasta was just mid.The bread and pepper spread were delicious but i would rather some other spread instead of the pickled veggies and chickpeas.Drinks were good, skipped on desert because of main plates not being as good as expected.“

“We saw this place come up while looking for a nice dinner spot but ended up somewhere else, decided to come back here for brunch the next day. Opted for the Ham Bacon and Cheese Pannekoeken, topped with a beautiful sunny side up egg with a deep orange yolk, presentation was beautiful, flavor was amazing, staff were courteous, the restaurant itself is beautiful too. I didn't get to try any of the beers but they looked to have a large and diverse selection of European options. Easy 5 stars. The waffle and Bae Toast also were tasty. Thanks Benelux we will be back.“

“I've been here twice now and it's my new favorite breakfast spot. Most recently took the husband and kids for brunch. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food. I've had the Sam I am stuffed French toast both times I've been there- it's soooo good. Hash browns that come with it are crispy and delicious too. My husband had a breakfast burrito that he enjoyed, one of my kids loved the overstuffed croissant sandwich and my other kids seemed to enjoy their French toast. We also had the mini donuts, which were great. Service was fantastic. Love the atmosphere and the fun music that's always playing as well.“

“This place is amazing! I had an unplanned surgery and when they lifted my diet restrictions, the first thing I saw was the ricotta pancakes with lemon and strawberries. That was the best choice I made. The pancakes were whole grain but they were light and fluffy. I think it was lemon curd spread on the top with sliced strawberries on top of that. The perfect mix of tangy and sweet. Next time I’m trying the egg sandwich and hopefully it won’t be because I’m in a hospital. I suggest everyone go there at least once.“

“Nice place with plenty of indoor seating and multiple tables outside. Extremely large selection of their beer on tap so regardless of your taste you will find something in the style you enjoy. Personally the Fish Fry Rye was excellent and very easy to drink. Looking forward to going back for their brewery tour and trying their other beers.“
