5 Stars!!!!! I have made Sweet Basil my go to Thai when visiting the Milwaukee area. I will drive 40 minutes out of the way for this curry every time! Amazing food and excellent service.
The chicken satay was amazing!! We really enjoyed the wonderful rice and crab Rangoon! Bradley Voecks and I cannot WAIT to order from Sweet Basil again! The staff was also extremely kind and friendly!

Sweet Basil | Thai Street Eats is considered one of the best Thai and Asian restaurants in the Milwaukee area and the Midwest. The food is consistently described as legit good, incredible, delicious, very fresh, and full of flavor. Favorites include the sweet and spicy Pad Thai, the panang and red curries, pad see ew, house fried rice with tofu, vegan pad Thai, veggie spring rolls, and mango sticky rice. The fried tofu is noted as crispy. The menu offers a great variety and a large assortment of Thai options, with items clearly labeled for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free restrictions.
The small restaurant has a very limited dining room with about 10-12 seats, so getting food to go is often recommended. It can be busy on weekend nights, and orders may take a little while during peak times, though service is also noted as quick and professional. The staff is extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and attentive to detail, with orders always being correct. Despite the wait during busy times, the experience is repeatedly deemed worth it.
