“On our trip home from Hayward, we stopped in. I am so glad we did. We considered the typical Wisconsin cuisine…(a sandwich from a gas station as we were fueling up)… I saw this place posted on Facebook… and decided it looked like a nice place to break up the drive. This may be a small cafe… but it is definitely huge in charm! The owners treat you like they’ve known you for years, the waitress was attentive and helpful. Being from out of town, we loved getting a few pointers on sites that are must see attractions. I went with the BBQ Special, and am convinced there was magic in the ingredients!! It had that home cooked flavor and immediately reminded me of a summer picnic… if you are passing through.. definitely mark this on your map!! I know we will be back the next time we are traveling… it may be a little out of the way… but it was definitely worth it!!!”
