I'd say it's okay. The wine drinkers in the group, I was with, enjoyed the experience. For non drinkers, like myself, the selection was not great. Food was okay, typical finger foods. Staff was very minimal and I had to wait 10 minutes at the register before someone came over to help. However, they were very nice.

Attractive and relaxing little wine bar with delicious selections for charcuterie plates and other options to accompany your wine choices. Wines are from around the world and you can choose from small tastings to whole bottles. They also have a few beer options and at least one bourbon. From date night to an afternoon playing cribbage or other games, to just a great place to hang out with friends and have a glass of wine— Catalyst is a wonderful part of downtown Rhinelander.

This is the first time I've been here. I went for bingo night. We had a blast. We sampled wine, had a couple of glasses and fabulous food. Tracy, who did bingo was very friendly and fun and kept us entertained. The Owner Kim is just as fun!! Thank you for a great way to spend my night. I'll be going back many more times!

Great wine bar. Self-serve wine taps, with the option for a 1-ounce taster up to a 4-ounce glass. The best part to me is that prices are per ounce, so if you want to try a few wines you're not gouged for selecting a smaller pour. The ambiance is comfortable and cozy, and the employees are happy to help you select a wine you'll like.
