I barely ever write reviews and we're not picky by any means but we were so disappointed, we felt like we got ripped off tonight. I had a bad feeling but my wife and I both got the prime rib anyways, which is a rare occasion for us. Cold, not even warm, honestly it was fully cold. My baked potato was hard and cold, maybe cooked about halfway. My salad had rotten pieces in it that I took out and ate around. Our daughter had Mac and cheese and fruit, 100% without a doubt it was microwaved, the fruit side was a cup from Walmart that you peel the lid off, a little misleading. All in all was a very bad experience for $80. This place used to be great years ago, unfortunately I don’t think we can ever go back when it used to be a “go to” place.

Back on July 20th I called to make a reservation for my wedding rehearsal dinner on August 22. I was told that since it was a Friday they did not take reservations. Now I specifically called due to the fact we had two handicap people that required the limited lower tables available. I knew being a Friday in Wisconsin it would be a long stretch since fish fry’s make restaurants and bars quite busy. Which I was told since they couldn’t take a reservation, the best they could recommend was us showing up around 4:30-5 and if the tables were available they could push them together for us. Now skip to tonight for rehearsal dinner, my mom and sister got there early around 4:30pm to get the tables. They were available but they were told they couldn’t be seated until our whole party arrived and they could sit at the bar. My mom, could not physically sit at a bar stool and need the lower chair. They did get seated. The start of our dinner was great! Henry S. was phenomenal and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care to the best of his ability. The food was great as well! Here’s where my disappointment started. During our dinner we saw the hostess setting a table of nearly 15 chairs, yet there was no where near enough people waiting to fill that table. We continued to watch this table for nearly an hour and half as it sat empty while numerous people entered and waited for a table, and large groups even left to go elsewhere where. We then saw a large bachelorette party arrive for this table. Out of frustration, as we were told “no reservations no matter what”, I went and talked to the hostess about how that table was reserved when Fridays there were no reservations. She stated that they were supposed to be here at 2pm but they had a mishap and couldn’t make it until later. I stated that sounds like a special circumstance that required a specific accommodation. I informed her that her customers do see what is going on, especially those of us that work in the service industry as well. She stated she would pass that information along. My point of this is that the food was great and Henry was amazing, but if you tell customers, that require specific handicap accommodations, that there are absolutely no reservations on Fridays, a table should not be held for nearly an hour and half for a bachelorette party that missed their original time.

1st time at Cross Country Bar & Grill, love the up north vibe. Pam and Terrell were funny, engaging and prompt with service. Had the prime rib sandwich which was excellent! Bloody’s and beer selection also great. Would highly recommend stopping in.

worst place ever!! We placed our order for 2 burgers , Long Island iced, water and an appetizer. We only got the 2 waters and the Long Island came after 15 mins. We were never told that there wait for food. people who came in after us were getting their food. The waiter said he for got to put our order in and apologized. After waiting 45 mins we asked where the appetizer was he said he wasn't sure he put the in?? We left after and hour with no food.
Waitress threw a pile of menus on our table. It was not busy. We sat for 15 minutes with four children and never had either waitress even look at us. They served 3 other older couples who sat down after us. We finally just left.

We ordered the broasted chicken. Had a nice texture and was crispy. The chicken was kind of bland in the flavor department. Took almost an hour to get our food. They we're busy and must be short-staffed. The place looks very nice. Kind of a neat atmosphere, but the chairs aren't very comfortable.

Stopped at the Cross Country last Wednesday night for a pizza. In the past we have stopped there many times and the food was always good. However it appears the pizza menu has significantly changed. We order a large thick crust deluxe pizza which is our favorite and was good in the past. When it arrived at the table it looked more like a medium size with slim toppings at best. There was one piece of pepperoni and maybe one small crumble or sausage at best and very skimpy on onions and peppers as well. the waitress came back to the table and we told her the pizza was very skimpy and cheap. She didn't respond and just walked away. May go back to try a sandwich again but never a pizza.
I was not very impressed. There were no low tables open when we arrived. We have a 2 and 3 year old and requested we move when the next came open. A low top was open and sat uncleaned for a long time. We eventually just cleared it ourselves. The meal took about 45 min to come out (and wasn't that busy) then one of our meals was super hot and one super cold. We told our server. He blew us off and did nothing about it...
We ordered drinks. He said one extra came. We didnt need it but said take it it's free. When we got our bill it was charged. As a server you could see he entered it in wrong. Never took responsibility of any of the issues.
