Chicken Parmesan was huge, cheesy, and delicious. The ponza rottas was delicious too. The homade crust was flakey and tender. Never had anything like it! The service was a bit slow. Bartender (very friendly) was alsomn77 the waitress. Waited about 60 minutes from order to served, and another 20 minutes to get boxes and pay. Will be back for the food!

Edit August 2, 2024: After our second visit, I have to drop some stars. We decided to try out Friday Fish Fry. Our visit this time was frustrating, disappointing and wondering if we will ever return.

First off the chef was on vacation for a couples weeks, the cook was the mayor, Chris. I am not so sure he is cut out to be a chef, which is why they had a much smaller menu. Some of the things we enjoy eating were not available. But that's not his fault. Nearly everything on the menu was pizza or something you would put in a deep fryer.

My husband ordered the fish. It was so greasy. The breading was saturated in grease, not light and fluffy as you would expect. He was not able to finish his fish and fries. I had the shrimp which was still soaked in grease but not nearly as much as the cod. As a side note, they did have the option of baked cod. I would suggest that.

We also got an order to go. The order was taken to the bar and given to another customer. I am not sure how much time had gone by, but the customer came back with our order and they give him the right order. I watched the waitress/bartender open up one of the boxes, tie it back up, and came over and dropped it off at our table. I asked her what she was doing? I explained I saw the customer bring it back and that we wanted new food. I was flabbergasted that she would think that would be ok.

This older waitress/bartender is harsh, rude and not very friendly. The young lady waitress was much more hospitable. This rude waitress, trying to give us food that has already left is enough for me not to come back. What other corners are they trying to cut? Shoot as far as I know, they could have taken it back to the kitchen and brought it right back out.

July 26, 2024: This is my first time eating here since the new owner took over. The place is dated, but there has been an effort to brighten it up. I was skeptical of the food since the owner also owns Da Bar and the food choices there are minimal. I digress. Different type of bar.

I had the chicken parmesan, and my husband had the special, a cheeseburger in a pretzel bun. The Chicken parm was good. The chicken was moist, the noodles were perfect, and the melted cheese on top was abundant. There was too much for one person to eat unless you have a hearty appetite. Good for leftovers. It heated up well.

My husband didn't have any complaints about his burger, except he wished he got lettuce and tomato. The waitress we had was pleasant, but it was her first night. Despite that, she did pretty well. I overheard another couple ask for more spaghetti sauce for their spaghetti and meatballs, and it was brought to them immediately.
