The best breakfast and atmosphere in the area! Cozy, warm and welcoming. I spend all my breakfast dollars here when enjoying Rhinelander. I’ve gone out of my way to eat here!

Next time I feel like I need to be on a vacation I will be heading to Tilly’s right here in my hometown of Rhinelander, WI. I don’t know of another local restaurant with such an urban feel breakfast experience in the area. Sweet corn pancakes with a blueberry cinnamon compote and a delicious and beautiful Hazelnut Latte. It turned a dreary winter morning into anything but!

Came in today to work from somewhere different & can't believe we have not come since this has opened 6 years ago. Only seasonal in Rhinelander, but what a wonderful space with delicious food & coffee to enjoy. Will be coming back!

Their grain bowls are out of this world! So healthy and so incredibly delicious. There's nowhere else in the Northwoods to find anything even close.

We had eaten at Tilly's twice before - in July of 2024 and November 2024, and loved it. We were so happy to find such a great sandwich/coffee place near our Rhinelander home. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at Tilly's during our recent visit August 2025. When we walked in, there were multiple tables that were dirty and had not been bussed or cleaned. Even the outdoor tables were dirty, with used dishes on them. Inside, we went to the order station and waited several minutes before being acknowledged. There were two young women working in the front area, both looked at us, yet it took several minutes for one to come over and take our order. We arrived well before closing time (12:30 arrival and they closed at 2pm) so the fact that the restaurant looked the way it did, and the amount of time we waited to be acknowledged was disappointing. There were no clean booths. The booth we sat at had crumbs all over it. A booth was taken by the two young women who were working, to be their prep station for utensils, etc. That was the only clean booth/table available. The food was OK. Portion sizes significantly smaller than when we previously went and significantly lacking in flavor compared to our previous visits. There was a bug crawling on the lettuce of my husband's salad, which came with the Kris burger he ordered. The behavior of the two young women was odd. They chatted with each other behind the counter the entire time we were there. They did not attend to much of anything, nor did they greet anyone. I am so disappointed by this experience. We contributed to Tilly's during a recent raffle event at the Rhinelander YMCA, yet I cannot say we will go back to Tilly's to dine.

This is a tough review 🫤
✅The food is truly outstanding- like hands down some of my fav scones and breakfast sandwiches in town
✅The coffee is smooth and wonderful, some of the best I’ve ever had!!
But the service, is slow…so slow - one Tuesday morning it took 38min for 1 -16oz latte …now was the coffee worth it 🤷♀️ yea kinda…but this is definatly not the place to go if your in ANY kind of time crunch.

Absolutely delicious! Check the wall for yummy coffee specials… I got a seaside caramel latte with smoked sea salt that was to die for! Fresh picked ingredients and lovely music. A “must return” spot!

Hands down the best spot in Rhinelander for breakfast, coffee and lunch. They are blessed to have Chef Kris whipping up some high quality and delicious food. It's my go to spot every day I'm in Rhinelander.

Best scone I've ever eaten. Great tasting potatoes, bacon, and my eggs were done perfectly. My wife's omlet was excellent. The salad greens were very nice. A gem.

If a business advertises its open hours until 1500, most people reasonably expect to be able to order food service until that time.
