First time here. We went here because they are in a couple motorcycle poker run books. A couple of my friends walked in and got served and a few more of us walked in moments later and were profiled and told no motorcycle organization colors or patches were allowed and we all had to leave. Kenicky's Public House is a welcoming bar and restaurant offering great service. The pizza and bloody Mary's are particularly praised, as are the garlic parmesan chicken wings. Although the spicy garlic wings weren't spicy enough for one customer, the dry rub on the blackened cajun rub wings was a hit. A limited gluten-free option, the gluten-free pizza, was highly appreciated. The restaurant also offers Friday Fish fry, with Walleye being very good, flaky, and well prepared. The atmosphere is casual and resembles a converted house, giving a countryside feel with attentive waitresses. The place has a good and friendly atmosphere, with reasonable prices for food and drinks. The fries were noted as a bit too salty, but the clean and pleasant environment, along with the friendly staff, makes it a place worth revisiting when in the area.
