I have return to Oakwood year after year, not only for their outstanding products but to also chat with their Oh so friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful place to visit ! And such a beautiful drive to get there
It was very busy as usual but the people directing parking are always great and all the staff is super friendly and helpful . So many good things to try and eat besides apples and my cherry turnover was still warm from the oven. With the leaves changing colors it's also a beautiful dive there.
Being from Northern Illinois, my apple orchard staple was Edward's. My husband wanted to check out Oakwood Fruit Farm, and I am SO glad we did! The store was fantastic! Popcorn, homemade jams, candies, cider, apples, donuts, and so much more! The prices were very fair. And I loved the slushie station.
