This was our first time at this restaurant, and it's.already a favorite! I ordered a tofu dish with a white sauce and vegetables which was the most delicious Chinese dish I've had in years (since we lived in Madison). The vegetables were fresh, all were tender-crisp including the pea pods, and varied. The sauce was seasoned well, and not too salty, as was the fried tofu. All the flavors and textures were perfect. I also ordered a shrimp egg roll, which was delicious...

food at china 1 in ripon, by far the best within 30 miles of wautoma. food fresh especially vegetables, cooked properly. plentiful. service quick and prices good. we ordered crab rangoon. 5.99 for 5. crispy, not greasy, a snap when you bite into it. i ordered tempura appetizer vegetables with shrimp, same thing. shrimp fresh with good bite[no strong odor or flavor.] tempura awesome with a nice crack when you bit into it. my wife ordered chicken kung pao. all super fresh. too much...

It's a pleasant surprise to find a place to eat sushi in a small town. The server was friendly and I liked the fact that you could get little souvenirs even though I didn't buy anything.
