The food was good. But seriously had the worst service ever. The restaurant is small and had three waitresses working. We waited 25 minutes after being seated to get any attention while the others who arrived after us had ordered food and had drinks. My dad called a waitress over and said we are going on 30 minutes here and have had no service. Is someone going to wait on us. She said, sure I will grab you some water. Gave us the waters and left. No order taken. At this point three tables that arrived after us had their meals. At the 35 min mark. She takes our order. My dad explains that we have now been there for 40 minutes. This is where we should have left. She took our order and we waited another 30 minutes for our food. Mine came out first and was an omelet and not the skillet I ordered. Then my mom's food arrived. Then my dads about 5 minutes later. His toast 10 min later. I also asked her to correct my order. So that took another 20 min because she was arguing with the kitchen staff. At this point we were planning to just eat and let this go. But she decided to complain and say the bad service was not her fault as she blamed it on the kitchen. Seriously, I don't typically complain and have been a server before and It understand that it happens sometimes. But at least own up take some responsibility for handling this poorly. Our bill was also expensive. And no kindness of apology was given not by anyone.. Pure excuses. Followed by pots of negative looks from the staff. Sorry, but never going back.

I took my wife to Red Roof Cafe and Breakfast on Mother's Day and enjoyed a GREAT breakfast. They were very busy, and we had about a 20-minute wait but was no big deal as we talked with the other people in line. Once we were seated our drinks orders were taken and arrived promptly. I had a Mexican omelet with hash browns and toast and my wife had the cinnamon French toast and bacon. We both had orange juice. Our meals arrived in no time, and everything was perfect. My omelet was all I could eat, and my wife brought some of her French toast home. The entire staff was courteous and stopped back several times to freshen our drinks and make sure all was well. Prices were very fair, and portions were plentiful. For a nice breakfast or lunch stop in and give them a try. Open 6 am to 3 pm, closed Wed.

This page will always be special to me. Great decor, great food, great staff. No complaints! Good price as well! Thank you to all the staff there!
