Went for my birthday today. You advertise up to $20 to spend on your meal. The waitress didn't seem to know anything about it. After she talked to the manager twice I ended up getting $10 off my bill. First time I ate there always get to go. The food was very good but was very disappointed that no one seemed to know what the birthday special is.
The food was delicious!!! The waitress didn't rush us!! And my wallet was found, returned and all CCards, etc - everything intact!! Wonderful, Honest waitress and Staff!!!!!!! Thank You!💖

China One is a family-owned restaurant known for its thoughtful service and friendly staff. The authentic Chinese food options cater to various dietary needs, with vegetarian dishes like sushi, pad thai, and egg foo young. Generous portions of well-made dishes, such as General Tso's chicken and Mongolian beef, make it a great dining experience. Customers praise the food as some of the best within 30 miles of Wautoma, highlighting the freshness of vegetables and shrimp, and the proper cooking of dishes. Crab rangoon is crispy and not greasy, while tempura vegetables with shrimp are light and crackly when bitten into. The chicken kung pao is made with fresh peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, pea pods, celery, carrots, and zucchini, with a sauce that is not greasy or gelatinous. The decor is clean, contemporary, and fresh-looking, avoiding the dusty, outdated style common in many places. Service is quick and friendly, and prices are very affordable. It is also a pleasant surprise to find sushi in a small town, with friendly servers and souvenirs available for customers.
