This place seems like any other small town restaurant except the other others that I visited didn’t make me want to puke after eating. I ordered an 8 ounce top cut steak with two eggs over hard and hashbrowns with a side of toast. The steak looked like it was run over and I could not cut it. Let alone chew it. The eggs or the hashbrowns or both tasted off, even after adding salt and pepper. There was something in the flavoring that just didn’t taste right; if I had to put a word to it, it would be sour. The only thing that didn’t make me feel queasy was the toast. The staff seemed nice. But I do not plan on coming back.

AMAZING RESTAURANT!! This place is a (not so) hidden gem in Ripon. The food came out within 10 minutes, and the service was absolutely fantastic. A very large selection of food, almost anything you want, they have it. A must-see if visiting this city. The ham was slightly salty, and we got hash browns instead of fries, but they were amazing so it was alright.

Ate dinner here tonight. They have a senior menu that is very reasonably priced. Lots of food too. The service was great. Our waitress was so attentive and anticipated all our needs. Would definitely recommend.
The food was bland and my chicken parm was overdone. My dad says he has never had a bad meal there so I'll give it another try one day

I really wanted to like Ripon Family Restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience over the 4th of July weekend left a lot to be desired. The interior is severely outdated—while there seem to be some efforts to modernize, the decor comes off more tacky than tasteful.
Despite plenty of open tables, service was very slow. My coffee arrived with part of a plastic lid melted into it, which was incredibly off-putting. I couldn’t get anyone’s attention until our food was brought out. I ordered a breakfast skillet, and the hashbrowns were noticeably undercooked. The pancake that came with it had black burn spots from the grill, and no syrup was brought to the table. By the time someone finally returned, I had already finished eating.
Between the cleanliness concerns and lackluster service, I sincerely question the hygiene and overall attention to detail at this establishment.
