Tasty meal and friendly waitstaff. UNFORTUNATELY, the owner would not honor a gift card as it was 4 years old. He did discount our bill from $38 to $25, so essentially our two meals and beers cost $75 because the $50 gift card mysteriously “expired” despite no details of expiration date on the back. Not a great deal and will not be returning.

Solid down to earth spot-especially for a traditional Wisconsin fish fry. Great prices.
Food: spot on. The 3 pc fried cod was one of the best in MKE. Perfectly balanced-not too heavy and a little crispy. Fries were nice and crisp. Best rye bread with a fry I’ve had.
Service: Pretty slow but understandably since they were in the weeds. Don’t come here looking for city-speed service. It would be nice if their paychecks included a QR code to pay. Otherwise, there’s a long URL you have to type in manually to look at your check.
Atmosphere: it’s a quaint bar inside. Wisconsin feels for sure. There’s a patio just off the Main Street. It’s fairly serene especially during the sun set.
Definitely worth a visit for a fish fry and old fashioned.

My fiance and I walked here for a Friday fish fry, sat on patio. Our server was running around like a headless chicken when there was barely anyone in the restaurant. We saw her jump in her car several times and drive off; bringing people to the restaurant and dropping off food? We asked her what she was doing and said she is forced to pick people up and do drop offs while she’s serving. I even ordered a Manhattan and got a shots worth of bourbon for $9 instead of up in a martini glass like a standard manhattan? I wanted to switch back to my cosmo but was told I’d still be charged for the inadequate cocktail they made. I have been a bartender for over 10 years, still am, and this has been the most wild service I’ve witness. We’re neighbors too so it’s such a bummer.

Adorable bar! So happy we stumbled upon the establishment while driving around, looking for a place eat before an event we were attending. Delicious food, incredibly friendly staff, and fantastic service! If we're ever in the neighborhood again, we will definitely stop!

Stopped in on a whim after seeing their sign outside for $10.95 fish fry. Paul behind the bar took the time to learn our names and we noticed he did the same for everyone, very friendly. It’s a very small place but a nice vibe. Fish fry was very good - and old fashioned, RiverWest Stein, and 2 fish fries and the bill was $36. ?

I went for the friday fish fry, and although the portion size was nothing special, it was incredibly good.The place has a ton of parking space- though there's not a lot of sitting room inside. Service is a little slow, but it's alright. The wine selection is great, and the community of regulars is even better. This place is something special.... also, there is the absolute cutest dog, and they are actually the best.
