Don't sleep on the Whitetail Inn!! We almost didn't go because of some of the bad reviews here, but I'm sure thankful we didn't let those stop us. We had the most amazing dinner! Pre-dinner cocktails and then started with the bacon wrapped chestnuts with a cherry sauce...killer appetizer!! I had the King prime rib, which was supposed to be 16 oz, but I swear it was easily 24 to 28 ounces. It was cooked to perfection and the au jus was seasoned very well....

Mixed bag. Hostess in severe need of etiquette training. She talked over and through us to people walking out the door as we arrived. When we left, no thank you, she was too busy texting. Does she realize she is in the service industry? Server Daniel is fantastic, please take care of him. The food was excellent but kind of pricy, but that's okay, we get it. What we don't understand, in a restaurant serving area of this size, is why your servers (4 last night)...
