Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary had a Birds and Beer at the Reel 'Em Inn, and it was excellent! The owner, Mary is so great at making everyone feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we could fit all of our guests so they could see the presentation. She was flexible with the last-minute adjustments that we had to make and the cheeseball chip dip that they served as an appetizer was delicious! My wife and I took our son here who was on his day off as a Tomahawk Scout Reservation staff Counselor. We've driven past here many times in the past and truly enjoyed the stop here. I had a special Chicken Philly Sandwich, my wife had a chicken tenders sandwich and my son had a Western burger. We also had the Bruschetta and Pretzels for appetizers. All the food was excellent. We enjoyed eating outdoors. We'll have to stop here again.
My husband & I had the German special tonight. He had the sauerbraten and I had the Jagerschnitzal. They were both excellent. The soup was great and the applekuchen was very good. Portions were large. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.
