As we celebrate National Heritage Hispanic Month, I call our attention to La Mexicana, my favorite Mexican restaurant located in Sauk City, Wisconsin. You can eagle watch when seated at a nearby public park area and have fantastic food all at the same time. This little treasure, in Sauk City. Wisconsin, is an accidental find. I stumbled upon it on a shoe shopping excursion to Black Earth. The wait staff was friendly, the food amazing and the portions grande! I have since returned “on purpose”. I was not disappointed, same friendly service and yummy food. I highly recommend La Mexicana.
Everything was delicious as always! From the Menudo to the Lengua tacos, just fantastic!
