Had a great experience at the Hillside tonight, bright clean and welcoming, the wait staff (Anderson) was attentive and helpful, the menu choices were varied and all the food was delicious! Well done Hillside! We’ll be back!!
Near Star Lake State Forest campground where we stayed to fish, hike, canoe, and camp. Wonderful bar and grill and supper club down the road in Saynor. The Vinch Burger was a beast in size and absolutely delicious. It was eadiky two meals. Friendly bartenders and lovely Up North atmosphere. The owner was a former Green Bay Packer cheerleader.
I know this may seem sacrilegious but I believe I enjoy their pizza(special) more than Sayner Pub. If you heat up the pizza on an open hot plate/stone then you really get that crust to crunch!
