Was Greeted as I walked in, Very Friendly Waitress, the regulars she new by name, within 10 mins the customers started talking including everyone (me) in their conversation!!I would highly Recommended this Place with the Friendly Atmosphere and the Awesome Food!!!!
For two we spent $28 for two dinners (chicken and roast beef) including drinks. Service was A+. Seating was classical restaurant style. Counter seating with stools, and tables for two, four or eight.Buy a weekly special and get a discount on the second meal at the same dining time. Interesting!

Donovan's Home Plate Cafe is under new ownership. Improvements have been made in all phases from the kitchen to the exterior and including new flooring in the dining room. The place is clean and orderly. The staff is extremely friendly and on top of their game. I even met the owner who clearly has a firm grasp on the turn around of this diner.
