Food was amazing and was very quick. Service was exceptional, never once had to ask for a refill, she would notice was getting low and would bring to the table. View was great. Was an excellent experience and would go again for sure and will on our next visit!

The Sandbar is an iconic location to dine on Anna Maria Island, and the perfect location to bring visiting guests to enjoy great food and a beautiful setting for sunset. That was our plan for dinner last night and as always, the Sandbar delivered. Service was great, the food was delicious, and the even without clouds, the sunset was beautiful.

First time visit, the location was fun. It was right on the beach. The food was good, nothing outstanding that comes to mind.  Wouldn't recommend for a special occasion or a date night, restaurant was very loud and it was hard to carry on a conversation. I would definitely recommend it more for lunch.

A great view of the Gulf of Mexico and great for sunsets. Food is fine but not over the top. It's more about the experience.

What a disappointment! Always been one of our ‘Go to' places but not now. Menu choices poor and food was like warm and soggy. What happened to the lovely fish dishes? Understand new owners - if so they need to seriously up their game.

Waited 40 minutes for food. My Dinner was cold and Steak had way too much seasoning. Dissatisfied with my food. Disappointing that Crab Stuffed shrimp no longer on menu

Was not good, made a reservation for 4 to celebrate our birthdays with family. Valet parked our car, no problems. Got here a bit early but was made to wait for our table, noticed that people without reservations were being seated and asked them why then they sat us. Once in the seating area noticed the place was pretty empty, so why we had to wait? Bad start.. next we ordered food, took almost an hour to get our food while other tables that had arrived after us were getting food. What the heck, spoke to manager, they gave us a percentage off our meal and some comps for future drinks but still not worth it. Food was alright, nothing special and plenty expensive. Just the beach that's what they bank on you to come here.
