Yessss this place tastes exactly like my favorite Chinese place that used to be in Racine. Everything was great! The eggrolls and crab Rangoon though, so good.
Update: Ordered again finally almost a year later. Every time I want Chinese, you’re closed! But not today! Anyway, still freakin delicious. Like over and over again, delightedly saying how good it is as I’m eating. Everything was perfect and I am hard to please. Even did a substitution that other restaurants always say no to! Delivery guy was also friendly and timely. Thank you!!

Best Chinese place in town! Very clean restaurant and fast delicious food. I love crab rangoon but there is never enough filling but the ones from china star are stuffed full.
Children were playing ball in the hallway and causing distress to customers, very disorderly.One of them,a little boy was sick and coughing in the air.

There was only a couple of pieces of chicken and only a little bit of vegetables. Not happy with it but I admit I did like the noodles I just expected alot more chicken and vegetables.which is why I gave it a one star.
To the reviewer on Xmas service: you must be joking. You even say they were 40 people backed up. Bad order on a hugely busy night? That you review? Really? Maybe you try it again on a regular night then review? I call shenanigans on your ill mannered review.Have gotten fresh orders here, quick and hot, good quality. Staff are friendly and ESL is good enough. Some dishes might not be as standard from other places but are made well. Enjoy this place in town.

Food is always good very rude waiting staff when calling in all you get is “what do you want”. It use to not be this way use to have a very friendly greeting
Their food was not too bad I did not get a stomach ache but the egg rolls were trash definitely figure something else out especially as much as they're charging for one egg roll they should have been more crunchy and a little bigger for the price that you pay for an egg

It was like eating in a company break room. Out food was literally thrown on the table. We weren't shen a menu so ordered off the wall, which offered limited options. May consider trying it for take out but they only get one more try!

New to the area and searching out a good Chinese restaurant, I chose China star because it had the best rating.Hot and sour soup was lacking flavor, we had the general tso chicken, shrimp in garlic sauce and 1 other dish all were not very good.Unfortunately, even the egg rolls were disappointing... the search for a decent Chinese restaurant goes on, I won't be back here
