The food always comes out fresh and piping hot. The servers are always so kind as well. The flavor profile of the food is unlike anything my husband and I have had in Sheboygan. Definitely one of the best Mexican places we’ve been to and continues to be our favorite.

**Cocina Mi Familia | Mexican** is an absolute gem and a great addition to Sheboygan’s food scene. This authentic Mexican restaurant is clearly made with so much love and care. The menu, patio, decor, and flowers are all wonderful. The food is amazing, with large portions for the price. Guests loved the breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles verdes with steak, tacos de lengua, steak burrito, and a regular burrito with local-made chorizo. The homemade chips and salsa, guacamole, green sauce, and hot salsa are all incredible. The margs are great, too. The service and atmosphere are wonderful. The staff is warm, kind, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant is very clean, attractive, and looks quite new. Be sure to notice the monarch butterfly theme everywhere, as monarchs migrate from here to Veracruz MX where the family has roots. There is also an ice cream truck in the parking lot, plus a late night food truck for catered events. This place is a little bit out of price range for some, but the food is definitely worth it and big portions are given for the money. Highly recommend making a stop.
