5 Stars. Best Pho in Sheboygan. 2020*

Update 1/19/2025********

I had always loved Pho VN pho as it was consistent and the broth was good. The meat and tendons were unmatched in the Sheboygan area. That was my experience here, 5 years ago.

Went to go eat here with my daughter last week. I ordered a P1 medium and a Thai tea for my daughter. When the waiter bright me the pho, I was taken away by the look of the broth. I had never been scared of eating pho before. The broth looked dark red to a dark brown. Good pho broth is supposed to look clean and clearer than this. I tried the broth and it was a bit sweet. I could not taste any beef flavor as it was overwhelmed with sweetness. I ate some of the noodle and a few slices of beef. The tendons were smaller in portion than normal. Meatballs tasted funny. I could not finish the rest due to the fact it looked horrifying. A really good thing I had ordered only a medium.
The Thai tea was not great either. It tasted really watered down.
Obviously, something changed in their recipe. I heard from other customers about their birth being sweeter, but at the time when I still went here, their pho was still good. Now, I’m seeing what they’re seeing. I’m really disappointed. It may be preferences, but pho should not be sweet. It should have a clean clear taste of natural beef. All ingredients should be fresh in it too.
Would I eat here again? No.

This place may look older and kind of run down from the outside, but boy, if you pass it by just because of that, you are missing out! They have authentic and amazing pho soups, noodles, tofu, spring rolls, and much more. They offer many different ways to customize your soup. You can have it with brisket, chicken, shrimp, and many more options. Finally, they offer so many toppings and sauces. Their staff do not speak much English, however they are extremely helpful and get you everything you need!

Dietary restrictions: The pho soups are all gluten friendly, and so is the spicy tofu! They also have veggie options for the soups.

The servings are large, so there is no worry about not leaving overtly full.

The dining area was tidy, and easy to access. The menu is a little smaller, but a lot of great Viet choices.

The pho was for some reason very sweet. It could be just a preference of recipe, but the overt sweetness detracted from any other flavour.

The spring rolls though have a special place in my heart. As someone who makes the ugliest rolls possible, it was great to see less than perfect rolls, that at the same time were delicious.

I was in Sheboygan and looking for a fresh Spring Rolls, I found Pho VN. I read some reviews, wasn’t quite sure what I should do but I’ve ventured in anyway. Their fresh rolls are one of the best fresh rolls I have ever had and their peanut sauce is also the best I’ve ever had anywhere. I seen reviews about not being clean in the dining room, it was very clean. I encourage you to give it a try!

Excellent Pho! Much better food than at any buffet. The place is clean and the service is quick. The large Pho is enough for 2 people. Great place, especially if you are tired of buffets but want Asian food.

I ordered a vegetable noodle soup for $12.99, expecting the kind of portions I get anywhere else, and a few minutes later got a bowl so big and deep that if I were to fall into it, even with my head turned left or right, I would drown. It was chock full of vegetables, tofu, and noodles, with a side of sprouts, basil, and peppers to add as I saw fit. The table had a variety of condiments to adjust spiciness, sweetness, saltiness, and umami. The whole thing was delicious, and took me a half hour to eat. Can't wait to go again.

Food was good the service was good and everything came quickly. The atmosphere is a bit spartan. But it's a nice enough place for a family to have a nice meal at lunch or dinner. Also priced right.
