This place is really fun! Casual art deco digs and a creative and engaging menu. We loved all of it! The Staff were superb, and the best bathrooms maybe ever. My only complaint was ALL the dishes were salty, like really salty. Even my salad. I didn’t really mind but, it was a bit much after a couple of course.I look forward to trying the other restaurants from these creators!

Went here for fish fry on Good Friday - a lovely experience. Had oysters and deviled eggs as apps - delicious! The fish fry was great - special shout out to the haddock and the potato pancake!

Classy place with swell food and delicious cocktails. Partner had the medallions and shrimp. I had the seared scallops. Both were...good/decent, but we'd like to come back and try something else. I felt the risotto was overly salty against the already-naturally salty scallops, so it weighed the meal down. Curds and pretzel loaf were yummy, but the loaf tasted more like rye bread than pretzel, and we asked them to remake the curds because the first order wasn't right. Server was very quick and accommodating with that and all other requests. We enjoyed the butterscotch tart for dessert. We liked the decor, ambiance and the service was very good. Bathrooms were awesomely decorated and had everything stocked.Recommended for a nicer night out, great for date nights!

Food is delicious. I ordered steak frites, oysters and a caramel dessert. All delicious. The dessert is a little big for one person, sharing is a good idea. Parking is on the surrounding streets, I had no problem finding a few streets before but I went on a Monday. For a drink I ordered a cocktail with lavender and I didn't like it very much but that's all. The waitress who served us, I think her name was Danielle, very friendly and helpful.

First timer , Nadia was great felt very inviting soon as we were seated. Great atmosphere, I had a delicious vegetarian dish portabella steak , mashed potatoes and spinach very well seasoned and a tasty cocktail. 10 out of 10 hands down , will be returning soon!!!Vegetarian options: There are a few dishes vegetarians will be satisfied with, the only thing I would change is better labeling the portabella steak entree, some might mistake it for a steak with mushrooms because when I ordered, I was asked did I know it was vegetarian dish?

Overcooked

Staff is very nice and does a great job and atmosphere is nice also. The problem is the food. Both my wife and I had food that was overcooked and did not have the flavors we were expecting. I mentioned to a bunch of friends today that we had gone to Buttermint and the food was not what we were expecting and to my surprise most of them had tried Buttermint and also had the same issues with the food quality and taste. This worries me that this restaurant will not be around much longer with this type of reputation. which is to bad. I had high hopes.

With a reservation (strongly recommended) we were seated quickly. Our server Ian was knowledgeable and friendly. The menu was tempting and our choices were delicious. The restaurant itself was buzzing but not loud, and the decor is quirky but fun. We enjoyed the evening very much.

Food was fine. Service was not. Our waitress did very little. Waiter taking care of table next to us was friendly, welcomed his table, talked about some of the specials, checked the table often. Our waitress did none of the above. Not sure we would come again.

Awesome greeting by the host very welcoming and sincere. Nadia was absolutely phenomenal! Personality, knowledge of the menu and engaging! The other staff members all supported each other by delivering drinks, checking on our table was amazing! Great restrooms! Loved seeing Mike Lind as well! Being an Event Manager for another restaurant group, 10 out 10 stars! Cheers! I will definitely be returning!

I've come here for cocktails as well as for brunch. Cocktails were excellent and well made versions of American classics. The brunch was good, however, I felt it's a bit overrated. Service has been excellent both times. Street parking is ample and I’ve never had issues finding a spot when I’ve come.

It was our first time at Buttermint. We had an excellent meal. A nice variety of cocktails and wine. The service was very timely and attentive. The restaurant design allows a pleasant ambiance with a very quiet environment allowing easy conversations despite a full house. I definitely will return to try other entrees.

Absolutely superb in every way. Creative menu and dining room design, caring service. The leadership team here checks on things...and they really want to know their customers in the best, non-intrusive manner. Enjoyed the rolls, meatballs, pork chop and divine French silk pie. The buttermints as a closer to the meal just add further to the remarkable ambiance. Run to Buttermint and enjoy life!
