Our service was excellent! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with the menu. I have the 12 ounce ribeye with the chopped sauce. It was done exactly to my specifications. It was tender and delicious with that sauce. My wife had a scallops, asparagus and raved about her dinner. The ambience was upscale, casual, and the noise level was a little above average, but not so that we couldn't talk to each other. I highly recommend Chop!

We've enjoyed dining many times at Chop and feel it's the finest restaurant in Door County. The food is delicious, servings are plentiful, and pricing is on par for this. Staff is personable and friendly. It would be helpful to have a second bartender during happy hour so patrons at the tables aren't waiting at length for drinks. I would highly recommend Chop for your next dining experience.

The food is always excellent. Our server, Bree, was fantastic. She was friendly, checked on us often and answered all our questions. I had the beef burgundy and my wife had the ragu on the early bird special. The carrot cake is great. Hopefully, on our next trip Bree will be our server! Great job Bree!

We have enjoyed going to Chop for many years. The food is great! However, there has been changing in the seating. We were squeezed into an area with three other tables for two people. We could overhear the conversation on either side of us. The tables are just too close! They should be spread out so that there are only 3. There are so many hard surfaces in Chop so the noise level is high. Our server apparently had many tables. Fortunately, the hostess helped her with service. We found ourselves waiting longer than normal. Will be be back? Yes. But, we will definitely ask ti sit in a different location.

We were seated quickly upon checking in. Great service by Carmen and others. Plenty of staff cleaning up as we were done drinking/eating. Consistent with filling water glasses. Personable waitress. Menu fully explained. Very positive experience. Only negative would be that the tables are too close together.

Our starters were the hit of the meal. (Scallops and tartare) Soups were served lukewarm at best and brought out right after the starters.Please let us enjoy our starters veggie you bring more courses. My steak was just ok, underseasoned and slightly overcooked (more medium than the medium rare I ordered).I expect more from a steak house. My husband's pork chop was not cooked consistently, half of it was overcooked and dry.

Appetizers and soup/salad arrived minutes apart; I asked them to slow it down with the entrees. Service was excellent. Best Ceasar salad with anchovies!
