I had the spicy salmon sushi, which was a very nice portion and it was so good! It was also Very reasonably priced for my family of 4. We had a delicious meal and fun time exploring the menu at Fat Belly. Three of us shared orders of dressed potstickers, Godzilla, Samurai Bowl and hand Grenades. All of the dishes were fresh, well prepared and nicely timed. FB is an excellent addition to Door Count dining scene and a place we look forward to visiting often!

Food is interesting and delicious. The dressed potstickers are my favorite. A great need on the Door County food scene. The restaurant is very tiny though. Don't expect to walk in and get a table, especially in high season.

Greeted right away, one guy running all tables but totally had it on rotation in a truly professional way. Food was phenomenal. We had crab Rangoon, and then rolls: Firecracker, Godzilla, Butterball and Crunchy Crab. Ah may zing. Finished up something like a crumble cake strawspberry and a lemon glaze. Great ambience for casual bites.

We really enjoyed this place. They had outdoor seating in addition to a small indoor space, and the waitstaff were friendly. We ordered two ramen bowls on a rainy day and dumplings and sushi to share. The sushi was good but honestly could have been more imaginative, but the dumplings were delicious and unique, which we appreciated. The ramen was very good, and perfect for the rainy weather we had (we loved being able to sit outside under a covered roof even though it was raining - with our soups, this was very cozy!). We'd come back again.

I have seen some others complaining about the location and view, but that does not matter to me as long as the food is great.It was great year one and worth the price. Year two not as good. And now it’s changed the menu so much it’s not a go-to for me anymore once a week or to bring friends and family when they are in town.

My husband and I have been coming to Door County from the Chicago area for 27 years. We found Fat Belly online and thought we would give it a try. I can’t say enough about how great the food was and the service! Daniel was attentive and friendly and they surprised us with some incredible Mochi since it was our anniversary. Probably one of the best meals and vibes in DC. We will be back and I highly recommend. Great intimate place with a fun atmosphere and cool outside dining area.
