The Uptown Scramble was very fresh, well seasoned, and well proportioned. It paired very nicely with the Blanc de Blancs. I will defintely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Fresh Take 42! Between two of us, we shared an order of two egg rolls, the pork sticks, and the noodler. Refreshing, delicious, and the portions were just right for us. We couldn't resist also ordering the creme brulee and savored each spoonful. Really nice atmosphere that's both bright and warm with wood tones and folksy music. There were also some outdoor games to enjoy. A new favorite!

Truly a gem in Door County! We felt so lucky to find this place! Everything was made fresh and somehow we payed equal or less than clearly mass produced prepped other food at local popular restaurants. They even made our toddler some special order much needed veggies as were not finding many on vacation and they were delicious. The house made drinks are maybe the best I've ever had. We had to get takeout but I wish we could have stayed as the place was stunning. Do not sleep on this restaurant, it is something special and we plan on returning each time we come.

Definitely coming back here again. The food and choices are something Door County needed. The menu serves everyone from kids to adults and to vegetarians. The egg rolls and pork skewer's and Mac and cheese rolls are delicious, along with everything else on the menu. Don't forget to save room for their homemade creme brulee. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere is warm and absolutely beautiful with love edge wood and bar stools from the Northwest Pacific. This is a must and it won't break your wallet. Great place for couples and families. Pets welcome outside on the patio too.

Everything was very original and tasty. We tried most everything, everyone enjoyed the dishes and crème Brûlée. The online menu is not correct, it could change frequently.

Noticed this place near where we were staying last week. I am so glad we stopped by. The Egg rolls are amazing, fried mac and cheese was delicious and cheesy, and the strawberry ginger lemon aid fizz was simply the best thing I drank during our trip.
We went to Benny's Brunch and LOVED the atmosphere and amazing service. The food was excellent!

Wonderful and refreshing atmosphere! We got lucky and went on a poor weather day so we got a table fine. The food was unique, varied, and fresh. They have options to make for a great, simple lunch or an interesting, memorable dinner! Looking forward to going back
Great service from Asche, small portions but fair price, tried both versions of the fried Mac, egg roll, cherry glazed pork skewers, and creme brulee, it was all delicious. Nice space inside, highly recommend overall.

Just had a lovely meal at Fresh Take. The egg roll was wonderful and came with an outstanding dipping sauce. I ordered the noodle bowl that was full of flavor and fresh ingredients. The menu tonight was small but very unique. I understand they vary the menu and next time I plan to try something new. Not your typical DC fish fry place! Try it if you want something different, totally unique and fresh as can be! Beautifully redone building. It’s worth a trip just to see the bar top that they made themselves with wood they brought from out west. Well done!
