This is not only one of our favorite places we’ve stayed in Door Co, but also one of our favorite breakfast/coffee stops! It is such a great location in Sister Bay, short walking distance to everything - the park, beach, restaurants and shops. We have stayed multiple times and have always loved our cozy beds, clean rooms, and ease of check-in and booking. Their breakfast and coffee options are delicious, and every staff member is always so kind and friendly. We have recommended this to many friends who love it also! My husband & I took a return trip to Sister Bay to celebrate our honeymoon. This was our first stay at Goose & Twigs. You can't beat the location - you are right downtown Sister Bay, steps away from great coffee, restaurants, night life, shopping, and the beach. Plus, convenient parking right on-site. We had a tiny issue getting our digital key to work one morning, but I contacted Gustavo and he helped us within minutes! We look forward to coming back in the future and getting a chance to visit the cafe. Thank you!

Beds are super comfy!We had issues with the phone key app, but the owner was there within 5 minutes (at 8pm) and was very kind/helpful with getting us back into our room.Highly recommend for your stay! After visiting the café portion of Goose and Twigs, I am super pleased to say that this place deserves a 6/5 stars. After ordering a large array of items and drinks from the menu, including their French Toast, Amanecer Melt, Avocado toast, and and their Wild Goose Sandwich, the food and drinks went above and beyond expectations! The avocado toast was a bit salty, however it didn't take away from the overall taste and the experience was super quick and great. the functionality of this café really makes it worthwhile for a breakfast or brunch stop!
We loved this place! It's not a beachy hotel on the main street, it's a small quiet inn a few doors up from where everything was happening on the holiday weekend. Our room was spacious and clean, the beds super comfortable. My husband and I invited our adult son to join us at the last minute and the room with two queens was a perfect fit. On property parking, coffee shop/restaurant, and a beautifully landscaped patio for sitting outside. Goose and staff are right there for whatever you need. We will definitely be back!(I forgot to take pictures, we were too busy having fun in Sister Bay and Fish Creek)Rooms: Clean and spacious. Great shower for tall people! ;)Nearby activities: EVERYTHING is just steps down the block, including the beach and all restaurants.Safety: This place was quiet and felt safe.Walkability: Excellent location for not needing to drive unless you leave Sister Bay. And why would you?Food & drinks: All the restaurants are just steps out the door. We liked Wild Tomato Wood Fired Pizza, Analog Coffee, Peach Barn Farmhouse Brewery and OF COURSE LL Johnson for Swedish pancakes that were like those I've had with my Swedish fam in Sweden. The store is amazing and the prices better than in Sweden.

I got a lox bagel and a latte and my boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich and a latte. We split the French toast. It was all really good. We found a lot of other places in Sister Bay to be overly fried, covered in sugar, etc. This place had great food.My one star deduction is just because the service is really slow and a little chaotic. It seems to the the spot for high school kids to get a summer job which is great. I just wouldn't recommend if you are in a rush.

This is our favorite place to stay in Door County. It’s located within walking distance of all the fun places. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. All of the staff are so friendly and accommodating. They bend over backwards to make sure your stay is excellent.

I stayed at Goose & Twigs in October 2022 and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, relatively spacious, and had been recently updated.What I loved most was the easy parking, walking distance to downtown Sister Bay and the lake, and the wonderful cafe that is attached to the motel. Brewed coffee is free to guests or you can order specialty beverages at the counter. We ate breakfast in the cafe and I highly recommend. They had a lot of options for allergy sensitive guests. Very kind staff working in the cafe as well. I loved the seating area outside for guests as well.We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again.
