We have been coming to Door County for many years and just now have found this hidden gem. We will be back. You order your food at the bar and a server brings to your table. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and inviting. I had the hippie bowl with grilled chicken. The chicken was tender and tasty. The bowl ingredients were fresh, deliciously seasoned and nicely presented. You will not be disappointed.

Was excited for a Beyond burger but, given it was the last day of regular service, they were all out. Got the Hippie Wrap without cheese/ranch sweet potato fries. Nothing special but happy to have options. The place had a cute, home-town atmosphere and good service, which helped.

Excellent late lunch experience! They had a table for 6 to accommodate our group. Order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. We had a couple of the hamburgers, a mac and cheese, a bowl of the soup of the day, and a Hippie Bowl. Everything was outstanding! Service was excellent! Fall color was beginning to show in Door County.

Oh, the choices! I’ve been coming to Door County for 30+ years and I feel downright foolish that 2025 was the first time I tried Grasse’s Grill! The fact that you can take any burger on the menu and swap the beef for chicken, black bean, or an Impossible patty (at ZERO upcharge!?!) is so genius that EVERY restaurant should do it. I’m not vegetarian, but enjoy trying vegan/vegetarian options. I’ve been avoiding beef/pork for years, which often limits options… but not at Grasse’s! Not sure what to get as a side? No problemo- Grasse’s has you covered! I went with a fiesta burger (chicken patty) and fries, but I cannot wait to come back to explore the menu further. The chicken patty was big, juicy and perfectly cooked with no tough spots or cartilage that I often find at other restaurants. I’m pretty snobby about fries, but These were DIVINE! I did nothing to them- no condiment or further seasoning (I’m ordinarily a black pepper & hot sauce, tamed by ketchup guy) because they were so good “plain”! Perfect balance of heft, flavor, seasoning and crispy texture, and a big, hungry fella received enough to feel full- a rarity elsewhere. We came for dinner, and the relaxed atmosphere, chill music, outstanding food, and quick, friendly service were the perfect way to wrap up an autumn day. I was also astonished by how reasonably priced it was! So many other places in Door Co. twist the knife on price simply because they can, which is something I resent as a frugal Wisconsinite. Grasse’s- I’m so sorry that I haven’t tried you before, but I’ll be back as early and often as possible, and I’ll sing your praises to anyone willing to listen! (my campfire group at Peninsula is probably sick of Hearing me gush already). Thank you, be well, and I’ll see you again soon!

Everyone needs to try the Meatloaf bowl... It is a taste explosion and very good on the palette. The ham soup was also top notch. It is the only place to go for the best value.

We had a great take-out dinner here. My hubby ordered the Iva’s meatloaf bowl, which is served with mashed potatoes, haystack onions, and gravy. He is picky about his meatloaf and really enjoyed this dish. I ordered the hippie bowl, a vegetarian option. The guac was good and not too spicy. The tortilla chips somehow stayed crispy after being in the bowl during the ride back to the hotel, and I felt healthy eating the hash. Since it was take-out, I cannot comment on the service or eat-in experience. I can, however, say that the restaurant is located on a cute street, very close to several areas where you can walk along the water. I was there just before sunset — beautiful!

My wife and I have visited Grasse's Grill numerous times when we visit Sister Bay. We've never had a reason to post a negative review, until this weekend. Our usual staple dinner is Iva's Meatloaf Bowl. What happened? The meatloaf was dry and flavorless. The mashed potatoes taste like the came from a box. It was a late Saturday visit (7:00'ish) so perhaps we got the "what's left in the kitchen before closing." versions. Disappointed and won't be back next time we visit Door County.

Not fancy but great food and best value in Door County. Convenient parking, easily accessible. I highly recommend this family owned and operated restaurant.

Quaint little place with a delicious fresh menu. Highly recommend the meatloaf bowl. Getting a bite of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, onion strings and the gravy was close to heaven. Wife enjoyed the chicken salad wrap with cherries, carrots and pecans.

Enjoyed lunch with our dog at the tables outside. The Whitefish Reuben and the Death's Door burger were both great. The service was solid, nice people. Very minor ding...not enough condiment baskets / napkins for each of the outside tables so be ready to share! ?
Vegetarian options: All the burgers on the menu can be made with a black bean patty or a Beyond Burger!

You have to go to counter to order, pay and they want a minimum of 15% tip. For what? I ordered the meatloaf sandwich, it was small and had no flavor whatsoever. My wife ordered a salad and I got an Ice Tea, $37.00. Too many other restaurants in town to choose.
