Tea Thyme in Door County

Very very disappointing when hours are not updated. Came here from Virginia and were very excited to see the store. Went on Thursday and store was closed yet google said they were open. Store had a winter hours posting they were open on Friday and Saturday. We came back to try again on Friday during the open hours and no one was there. We only have a few days to spend here, don’t have hours saying you’re open when you aren’t.

Me and my boyfriend stopped in for the first time today and were greeted with a smile & a very friendly hello. The owner answered all of our questions as we are new tea drinker is and was super knowledgeable. They had tons of different tea options and we left about three different kinds to try. We can’t wait to go back next time. We’re in town!

On a road trip to acquire a prized frog relic at an art show (for my friend’s daughter) I stumbled upon “Tea Thyme” on the way home.Earlier I had slammed my toe into a large silicone spoon looking thing/art piece I unfortunately have a lot of arthritis in me joints, the decision to pull over was a no-brainer, and what a serendipitous stop it turned out to be.The exceptionally kind staff, with their genuine smiles and attentive care, recommended a star tea blend renowned for its healing properties. My toe felt kissed by a leprechaun!”Tea Thyme”provided quite the refuge, where everyone is welcome, even if you are the problem.

I went in to find teas for my sister and aunt with no knowledge of tea. The owner was extremely helpful in picking out flavors that my family would like. She gave me a great tea education and I left knowing more than when I went in. I'd highly recommend this shop if you're looking for anything tea related.

Charming store selling loose tea by the ounce and both tea and kitchen accessories. Owner was friendly and kind. I’ll brew up some Door County Cherry come fall and think of my weekend in Dooer County!

Very helpful, kind, personable, and knowledgeable owner. There are samples of teas in small jars that you can smell to get a sense if the tea is right for you. I was delighted to hear they have an online store too since Door County is a bit far away from me. Their Door County Cherry Black Tea is delightful.Unfortunately there was no afternoon tea service when I visited recently due to the pandemic. However, I am glad I stumbled across this small tea shop when I was searching for places to visit before my trip.

The owner here is amazing. She is kind and makes you feel happy and at home in her store. The tea is amazing too. She really loves her job and you can tell! She selects every tea and gives great recommendations on tea. We live in Chicago but only buy tea from this place! I really can't say enough great things about this cute shop
