Always have a great time and food is fantastic! Curds are delicious, all the different grilled cheese and you gotta try the fish fry.
Its not a cheese factory anymore due to 2020. Always awesome soup and food. The silly dilly with bacon is great! Don't forget the daily specials and starting in the fall the Friday fish fry is Awesome!.
Deep fried cheese curds are great and decorated so cute
Menu options are burgers and fries.
Cheese curds were good.
But the best part of the experience was the people who worked there.
When eating outside, beautiful views. Service excellent. Food marvelous. Worth the ride from Minnesota. L
It was very busy and they don't have enough employees to help. We came in at 5:45pm and wasn't able to order until until 6:45pm. I tried to order their flat bread pizza and was told that I couldn't order that due to it slowing the cooks down. On top of that they had two new employees who were slowing to process down. I'm not a happy customer and may not come back and may tell others about my experience.
This place was recommended to me by a family member of mine due to my love for cheese, so today I made the trip out to Bass Lake Cheese Factory to give it a try.
Firstly, the service was great. The lady that brought our drinks and food out to us was awesome. However, the cheese and the food in general was lacking immensely for it coming from a cheese factory.
I decided to try both the deep fried cheesecurds and the regular cheesecurds. The deep fried ones were OKAY, but were not impressionable. The "fresh" cheesecurds were anything but that, and quite expensive for what little you get. The packaging on all of the cheeses did not include a "Packaged On" date or a "Sell By" date, and the cheesecurds were yellowed and did not squeak.
I really wanted to like this place, but it leaves a lot to be desired.
Not a cheese store but a restaurant with a small cheese section
We ordered amazing cheese curds to go and got some cheese to try. Amazing cheese curds selection!
Stopped to see the different kind of cheeses they have to sell...we decided to have lunch on the deck, our food was very delicious and our server so polite ...we definitely will stop again.....

If you are a lover of cheese, like myself, then you must take a trip to the Bass Lake Cheese factory at some point in your life. They have a huge selection of many different styles and flavors of cheeses, and each type that I have purchased has been absolutely amazing. The prices are more than reasonable for the excellent quality as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant inside too, which I have been many to check out.
Warning: not a real cheese shop, no warm fresh cheese curds to purchase. More of a novelity place.
Those cheese curds are amazing! And everyone was so friendly!
Missed out on the restaurant. The people were very nice. And the taco cheesecurds are fantastic!
Great food and equally as great service. We'll come back again!
