We went here today. It was so good! Had catfish Mac and cheese and yams. Fish was so fresh and seasoned just right. Chatted with the owner Annette for a min and told her we loved everything. Check it out if you have a taste for some homecoming.
My experience at this restaurant for the very first time was a breath of fresh air. I mean I don’t cook anymore but I love good food, soul food and that is exactly what I’m getting. The food is amazing and I am or I will be the number one customer. The yams was perfect!! Making me miss my moms food.
I have to say this is now my favorite soul food restaurant .Not only was the food delicious but the owner herself came out to welcome us and made us feel like family. The experience made me think of times that I would go by to visit my grandma or my favorite aunt that cooked soul food style meals like the ones prepared at Pot Liquor.I always left their homes not only full but happy from having such a good time and looking forward to visiting them again.
